उत्तराखण्ड के एक ऐसे जाबांज डीएम मंगेश घिल्डियाल जो अपने काम करने के अनूठे अंदाज के लिए हमेशा चर्चाओं में रहते है। जी हाँ रुद्रप्रयाग के डीएम मंगेश घिल्डियाल जो अपने बुलंद कामो से रोज सुर्खियों में रहते है ,गायिकी में भी अपने पहाड़ी गीतों से लोगो के दिलो को जीत लिया। नरेंद्र नेगी का एक पहाड़ी प्रसिद्ध लोकगीत ” ठंडो रे ठंडो मेरे पहाड़ की हवा ठंडी पाणी ठंडो” को जब उन्होंने रुद्रनाथ महोत्सव 2018 में गाया तो उन्होंने दर्शकों को आश्चर्यचकित कर दिया। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि डीएम मंगेश घिल्डियाल जब अंत में दो शब्द कहने पहुंचे तो उन्होंने बच्चों की प्रतिभा की जमकर तारीफ की। उन्होंने कहा कि इन बच्चों को गाता देख उन्हें गाने का मन कर रहा है। बस डीएम घिल्डियाल का इतना कहना था कि पब्लिक से फरमाईश तेज हो गयी। फिर तो डीएम घिल्डियाल भी नहीं रुके। दरअसल पहाड़ की प्रतिभाओं को मंच पर गाते देख डीएम घिल्डियाल खुद को रोक नहीं पाए और उन्होंने रुद्रनाथ महोत्सव के मंच पर साबित कर दिया की एक जाबाँज अफसर होने के साथ साथ वो गायिकी में भी उच्कोटी का ज्ञान रखते है। इस कार्यक्रम में उनकी पत्नी और परिवार के कुछ सदस्य भी बैठे हुए थे।
